4 months agoUsed this restaurant for a catering event , spent over a $150 and got at most 20 pieces of chicken and 5 pounds of rice. Just simple not a good experience and would not recommend it to anyone!!

5 months agoWas driving through the area, and this quaint little place caught my eye. It wasn’t super busy, so my family and I decided to check it out, and we are glad we did. Family of 6 was sat immediately, and we ordered the Vegetable Tempura and Shrimp Tempura. Both were fresh, decadent, and piping hot. Alongside this we received a delicious broth soup, which was definitely nice after the cold day. Our sushi came out fast, and one bite in, we ordered more rolls. They have different platters and even a sushi boat, so we ordered the basic platter along with an Alaskan, 2 Californias, and 2 Caterpillars, as well as a Tiger roll. Incredible. The servers were kind and knowledgeable about the rolls, and the chef was so sweet. If you’re driving by, it’s definitely worth the stop.

a year agoStopped in for dinner while visiting the area. Food was great! Service was fast and friendly! I would definitely eat here again on future visits to Bowling Green, KY! 😛😋

2 years agoEnjoyed a delicious meal just before close the other night. Had some hibachi steak and a roll of fried sushi. Everything was delicious. Server was friendly and kept on top of our needs. Kitchen was quick and food was fresh. Restaurant is dated and could use a remodel, but it was clean so not the worst issue.

4 years agoThe best sushi in Bowling Green!!! This is a hidden gem for sure. Our group ordered 8 different rolls and I could only snap a picture of two before the group dug in. It doesn’t look like much but it will blow you away. We’re coming back!!

Edited a year agoUpdated: I love the poke bowls! Nigri was good too! Hibachi place that has been around for years in BG, not affiliated with the other Kyoto. Cheap fast Asian food and drinks with ample portions. They made improvements to the restaurant so it looks good and is clean. Staff covers the basics when it comes to service. The sushi area has only been around for a couple years and the first time I tried I was not impressed however I recently tried the poke bowls and now are hooked! More expensive than most meals on the menu but as a lover of poke I'm glad I tried.
